Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The rooms are in excellent condition and have a very nice view of the famous subglacial volcano Eyjafjallajökull, plus you're so close to some of Iceland's most iconic sights like Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, Black Sand Beach, and Vestmannaeyjar. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit smaller compared to other hotels in the same league, but that's no big deal considering the cozy lounge right at your doorstep.
The hotel offers stylish and very clean rooms with a stunning view of the volcano, although they are slightly smaller compared to other hotels in this category. Having a nice lounge right at your doorstep compensates for the room size. The service was excellent, with room service, housekeeping, and tours/ticket assistance readily available. The location is amazing, close to Skogafoss and just a short drive to Black Beach, making it convenient for those hunting for Northern Lights. The dining options, though already nice, could include even healthier and organic choices to match the trendy contemporary architecture of the hotel. Facilities are top-notch, offering everything one needs for a comfortable stay.
